an X and a Y - just another x/y pad controller?  well sort of, but a different stance on the generalisation of most controllers with button pads and dials.  the X and Y app gives you more or less the same effect but in a different way, [1] large x/y controller, organised and controlled by 24 pre-sets.  the pre-sets are stored and recalled, anything you want, any combination of midi cc control, the x/y control area can be switched in a variety of ways, off, vertical, horizontal or in both directions, control values are displayed in the top right corner of the app.

two menus control the parameter section of the vertical and horizontal control, displaying midi cc implementation [midi V2.0], a total of 256 parameters.  an example : lets say you want a vertical control of amplitude on a synth, and horizontal control of the filter cut-off, you would set up the menus for the cc controllers and then store that setup to one of the pre-set buttons, in-app, you have 24 available slots, but all 24 pre-set slots can be saved and recalled as a batch file, in this way, you can create different setups in batches of 24, instantly available from a click of a button.  in a second slot you want control of an envelope, lets say, attack and release, in another slot, you just want vertical control of volume or horizontal control in another patch, lets say lfo speed, all this can be achieved, by setting the the x/y controller to output vertical, horizontal or both controls simultaneously. please note, anxanda-y was created for touchscreen monitors and slates in mind, but can also be used with normal computer devices and mouse control.
